I had an incredible stay at Minka! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and I never felt alone. The common areas were well-designed and perfect for socializing or enjoying some downtime. I especially loved the pool table and the well-equipped kitchen, which came in handy for preparing affordable meals. The daily activities organized for travelers were a great way to stay entertained. The breakfast made by the chef was delicious and added a nice touch to the overall experience. The location was also convenient for exploring the city. I had an amazing time at Minka and would highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

The staff members were amazing and went out of their way to help with everything, from organizing local transportation to providing suggestions for sightseeing. The rooms were comfortable, with nice mattresses, and having a kitchen was a great way to save some money. The location was also excellent, being right in the middle of the city, making it easy to walk to the old town and the botanical garden.
Some of the volunteers lacked knowledge and gave incorrect information, which was frustrating. The kitchen was consistently dirty, and the pool table was crooked.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay, providing information about local attractions and arranging transportation when needed. The common room was a great place to hang out, with a relaxed and chill atmosphere. We enjoyed playing pool and the evening activities like beer pong were a lot of fun. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from.
There were times when the staff played loud music late into the night, which made it difficult to sleep. The showers were a bit tricky to use, as it was hard to find the right temperature.

Wow, what an incredible experience! The staff at this hostel are mind-blowingly kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. They go above and beyond to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. The private room we booked was jaw-droppingly spacious and comfortable, with a big bed and a large bathroom with warm water. The hostel was blissfully quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast provided, with coffee, juice, eggs, toast, ham. The hostel's location is unbelievably safe, with a fantastic market just steps away and plenty of affordable restaurants in the area. The optional tours and information provided make exploring the city a breeze. All in all, if you're looking for a safe and welcoming place to stay, this place is an absolute winner!

I stayed at Minka for my first time in Ecuador. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing travel assistance and passionate recommendations for my trip. The breakfast was great and the roof terrace was lovely. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The communal area had a nice vibe and the separate showers, toilets, and sinks were a thoughtful touch.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
